Belmore is a minerals exploration company with a focus on projects in the Republic of Ireland. Priority is being given to zinc exploration properties in County Clare where the Company has an interest in eleven prospecting licences covering 393.83 sq kilometres. In April 2008 the Company discovered a new high grade zinc and lead mineralized zone on these licenses. Exploration activities on the County Clare Licences are being accelerated following the joint venture agreement with Lundin Mining Exploration Ltd. announced in February 2009. Lundin Mining Exploration is a wholly owned subsidiary of Lundin Mining Corporation; a TSX listed diversified base metals mining company.
