Technis is a business development company, with an emphasis on technology, which was formed to acquire suitable businesses and develop and commercially exploit, a portfolio of intellectual property rights ("IPR") primarily relating to a range of technologies spanning a wide spectrum of business sectors, where possible integrating the company's IPR Portfolio into acquired businesses.

The Company's main focus is on the acquisition of companies where it can add value to the business through technology, financial or management support or alternatively where acquired companies bring additional value to existing in house technologies. Technis plan to distribute its technologies through its group companies or onward licence to third parties again through group investments to further develop commercial opportunities.
