YCU is an exploration company which was founded in November 2005 with the objective of exploring for uranium deposits in states of Utah and Colorado in the USA. Utah has a long history of uranium mining.

Through its wholly owned subsidiary, Mexican Hat Inc (Utah), YCU holds mining leases on four properties situated in south-eastern Utah and the immediately adjacent part of south-western Colorado. The four properties, referred to as the Yellow Cat, the Sharp Canyon, the Harts Point, and the Big Flat-Bull Canyon properties cover an area of approximately 10,500 acres.
