PLUS-Europe is a dedicated small and mid-cap market being created through co-operation between PLUS Markets and Bayerische Börse, the operator of the Munich Stock Exchange in Germany. It will offer quote-driven trading services in a range of equity securities, including full coverage of all AIM securities from launch.
PLUS-Europe will apply the high, MiFID-compliant standards of transparency and market surveillance expected of a MiFID Market Operator and will be based on the infrastructure already in place at PLUS, including its X-Stream trading platform and user-friendly quote-driven trading rules.
PLUS-Europe will be fully accessible to market participants based in London via their existing systems and connectivity providers, and a mechanism exists for existing member firms of PLUS to be grandfathered in as member firms of PLUS-Europe on the basis of a one-page application form.
